My name is Ana Vega and I am a Graphic Designer and an Artist. I studied graphic design through Lone Star College and now have an Associate's in Visual Communication and a Certification in Graphic Design.

As a dedicated Graphic Designer, I want to continue pursuing my Bachelor in Fine Arts at the University of Houston. I am passionate about creating visually captivating designs that leave a lasting impression. With a strong foundation in design principles and a keen eye for detail, I have honed my skills through hands-on experience as a freelance graphic designer. I dedicate my time to each an every project I take. And as a freelancer I get to speak with my clients one-on-one so we can both communicate and deliver our thoughts and ideas to real life visual concepts.

When I am not designing, I also love to focus on making art. Growing up I was always an artistic person I began with drawing and later on broadening my skills through other mediums like color pencils, watercolor, acrylic, and oil. I have made small accomplishments in my art such as receiving Gold Medal for "Autumn Glory" at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Art Show in 2015. In 2020, I was a winner for "Yellow Tulips" at the LSC-North Harris Virtual Art Contest. I had received recognition in my piece "Connect through Intimacy"  which was showcased at the 2022 International Education Biennial Conference at Lone Star College. And recently, my piece "Waller: Where a family begins" was given 2023 Grand Champion at the Waller County Sesquicentennial.

Throughout the years, I have created custom paintings and prints as a freelance artist and has been a real rewarding experience. My other hobbies that enjoy doing is reading books, exploring new coffeeshops, and spending time with my little parakeets. One of my favorite reads is You are a badass by Jen Sincero. I am a huge coffee person, some may say a little too much, I have my own coffee bar at home where I make coffee in different ways like a french press, espresso machine, coffee maker, or a stovetop moka. My parakeets are my three favorite friends their names are Pikachu, Tomatillo, and Kirby who recently left us and I enjoy their company and having them by side.
